The story of a female snake and a man. This area is so thickly wooded, I've heard that there used to be tigers and leopards, and people were scared to walk in it. Of course, it's gone now. Ghost Ridge is the most eerie of all the forests. Suddenly, something flashed in front of me. I stopped dead in my tracks. I realized that the two lights were looking away from me. This time they looked like two lanterns, hanging silently from the eaves of a house. Of course, I wasn't sure if they were eaves or not. Then there was another figure. It was hunched over, like an old woman. I couldn't see her face, but my instincts told me she was facing me, she was waving at me. Her hands were like two dry willows, unusually long.
